County Research Packages
County packages are the most in-depth searches we offer.
We begin at the two state repositories and then move to on-site, in-county research at historical and genealogical societies, libraries, court houses, records centers, and county archives. If specific information about place of burial is known or uncovered we visit the church and/or cemetery to take tombstone photos and learn if additional records exist. Standard with every county package (if available and applicable to your search) are marriage and obituary searches in local historical newspapers.
NOTE: The following packages cover 44 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties. The remaining 23 counties are fairly remote and somewhat lacking in genealogical resources, however, package quotes are offered on an individual basis.
Prices are all-inclusive and cover travel, tolls, entrance fees, a reasonable number of photocopies, and the creation of a detailed final report.
Fees cover only the time, expertise and expenses of the genealogist and in no way imply or guarantee specific results.
