About Me...

I've been working with wood since I was first old enough to carry my grandfather's hammer and saw.

From my grandmother I learned the "softer" arts: sewing, embroidery, braided rugs, crochet... all of the things she had learned from her mother and grandmother.

Art teachers, Mr. Rogers, and my own wild running curiousity filled in the remaining creative blanks with decoupage, woodburning, clay modeling, wire working, and any other pursuit that caught my fancy.

So now, after years of being a crafting and woodworking generalist, I concentrate on creating unique game boards that I call "playable decor."

Whether backgammon, checkers, chess or old-fashioned favorites like parcheesi – I can create a board based on your favorite theme, hobby or interest.
